Courage is an inpackage marketing piece designed for instantprint to engage with new audiences. Being included in external retailers packaging presented new challeneges. Sketchbook out.
 
First thing we identified was that the audience receiving these inserts may not have heard about us, require print or care for print entirely, so how do we get the attention? We present them a proposition.
 
To me, Business Cards are a personal extention of a person, and as such, could arguably be as important as the clothes they wear or the tone they say hello with when first being aquainted. From this, I questioned what it grants the user.
 
Having a good business card could be the spark that provides pride, charisma or courage. Now I've always been a fan of L. Frank Baum's Wizard of Oz and as it happened there was a particular monologue written for the Cowardly Lion that almost fit perfectly. The final line being asked, what have they got that I ain't got?
